Spicy Gochujang Dumpling Appetizer
Ingredients
1 pack steamed dumplings
1 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon gochujang
1 teaspoon gochugaru
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Garnish
Cilantro
Sesame seeds
Red chili peppers, sliced
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, garlic, brown
sugar and honey. Mix until combined. - In a small pot over medium-high heat add the chicken stock to a simmer. Add the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and mix in the sesame oil.
- While the sauce is cooking, place the steamed dumplings into the microwave for 2
minutes. - Place the sauce in a small bowl, and top with steamed dumplings. Garnish with cilantro, sesame seeds and sliced red chili peppers.
